Brazil Club is based in London and plays Samba Reggae, the sound born in the carnival streets of Salvador, Bahia in the 1980s and carried by blocos like Olodum and Ilê Aiyê.
We are not a generic percussion group. Our musicians trained in the Afro-Brazilian tradition, perform on authentic instruments, and bring the choreography and cultural depth of Bahia to every London stage, street and dancefloor we play.
Because Samba Reggae is fully acoustic, we can perform almost anywhere in the city with no power, no PA and no soundcheck, from a rooftop terrace to a marquee to a processional route.

Are you based in London?
Yes. Brazil Club is based in London and performs across the capital, as well as UK wide and internationally.
How many drummers can you bring to a London event?
Anywhere from a trio for an intimate gathering up to a full 20+ piece bloco with drummers, percussionists and dancers. We scale the lineup to your venue and budget.
How much space does a samba band need?
Performances scale to your venue. As a guide, a 4-piece can perform in a 4x4m area; a full bloco needs a stage or a processional route. We advise on this before the booking is confirmed.
Do you need power or a PA?
No. Samba Reggae is fully acoustic, so we can perform anywhere with no power, no PA and no soundcheck. We can also play PA-ready when your production team prefers it.
